International tender for Conceptual design of the bridge over the Kotor Bay, Montenegro.
The bridge in question is a road bridge, with 2 x 2 road lanes and two footpaths. A huge ground seismicity and great wind load due to the bridge height over the sea are essential environmental characteristics. The tender design is a result of the analysis of the various potential systems and above mentioned. It is a cable stayed bridge, steel beam system with orthotropic plate (low weight and aerodynamic cross section) and two concrete pylons.
