The bridge is located at the tender required location, between the shipyard on the left bank of the Sava River and Cukarica estuary on the right. Considering the possible structural systems, tender tasks and terms, the most rational concept was chosen: Bridge with the traffic on one level, the position of the pillars outside the water, three structural parts of the bridge according to the terrain conditions and a bridge with a minimum required width of 37.80 m, with no surfaces loss caused by the structure. Structure Systems: 1) part around shipyard Cantilever Beam 80 +104 +64 = 248 m, 2) a central part over the river Sava cable stayed bridge 2x56 +2 x56 +348 = 572 m, 3 ) part around the Cukarica estuary cantilever beam 104 +54 = 158 m. All structures are composite, selected as the most rational ones.

Cable stayed bridge with two concrete pylons height of 65 m, (slightly higher than the adjacent railway bridge pylons). Concrete pylons are box beams elliptical in cross-section, passable through the entire height. The upper two thirds of the height are faced with the stainless steel. Structure designed this way has optimal span, system and the quantity of materials / cost.

Jury eliminated the project due to legal deficiencies during the project documents packaging, and it is not even taken in consideration.

  or about 1800 EUR/m2
